WIll McCall grew up in suburban Los Angeles, the son of a Southern Baptist preacher. He knew all about the ministry and ministering, or at least his vision of it. And while he didn't have anything against the church, he didn't have any plans to be one either. He doesn't. Yet.
He's the quiet and unassuming president of Dallas Leadership Foundation, a faith-based nonprofit organization founded in 1995 to refurbish and restore under served and blighted neighborhoods. He lives in DeSoto with his Wife, Deborah, and their two young sons, far away from h is native California and the quiet suburban life of his childhood.
